I'm busy playing "stay-at-home-house-wife". It used to be my favourite thing ever to do, but now it's getting old. Daniel has left for the month of July (gone to Yuba City, CA to work at the raisin factory) and I volunteered (i.e. begged) to house sit.
So now I've been here for three days straight. I have huge plans of home renovations such as weed wacking, landscaping and figuring out how to fix the light fixture in his bedroom. (I know, not quite as large scale as my parent's addition they are building but I've been itching for Daniel to leave and for me to take over the home improvment projects.)
Lately all I've been doing at his house is random gardening and ebaying. I also fill my car up with large amounts of garbage and dump it at random dumpsters in the dead of night. Oh yes and I also on a daily basis steal 5 gallons of gravel from the Cornwall church parking lot and dump it in his driveway.
Today was my day off from work and I had a busy day planned for myself. In the end all I did was mail a butt load of ebay stuff off to various places around the world, try to organize the
mass amount of ebay crap that I have lying around, mow the front lawn, burn
a bunch of garbage, watch my roommate get a tattoo, and build a pathetic roofless birdhouse.
Building a birdhouse was SOOOO much more complicated than I thought it would be. It was just awful and after an hour or so of painstaking labour I'm left with a birdhouse with no roof and lots of smaller bits of scrap wood. Urgh.
My Random gardening. This is the only plant that makes me feel like I have the
possibility of a green thumb:
This is the overwhelming weedwacking I want to do.
Use the dog (which is a puppy) for scale:
This is one of the thousands of morning glories that are taking over:
Some more of my random container gardening. These make me feel like I have no thumbs, let alone green ones:
More overwhelming weedwacking.
And an overwhelming pile of wood that needs burning:
